Welcome to WVOU, world :)
This 2009/2010 school year, you'll be hearing a lot from us. Here's some info on what to expect in the upcoming semesters: WVOU's Bi-weekly Newsletter, sent to an inbox near you. WVOU will be emailing this out every so often giving you the skinny on what's going on in Philly with local concerts, DJ highlights from some of our o-so amazing spinners, artists showcasing, band interviews, and record release info; some of which will be found on our Blogspot, and whatever else we end up wanting to tell the music-lovin' community of Ursinus College. Sports Broadcasting: That's right. We'll be going out to your favorite sporting events and playing them over our fabulous Itunes stream. So if you can't make it to the game, we'll bring the game to you!! Event Planning: INDEED!! We'll be trying to book some concerts through CAB or other funds we try to scratch together so everyone can come down and revel in some dancy and moshy moments just like we did last year. We'll also be DJ'ing for this years "Late Nite Lower", and hosting events on campus for whoever would like us at their party to lay out some fine tracks. Talk to us!!! Yes please!!
